Electrical work for me has always been something that is close to magic. Sure I understand the basics of how electricity works and how to wire up a lamp or redo a fixture in the home, but when it comes to industrial safety and any form of larger project I always acknowledge that I am a bit out of my depth. As result I have spent a lot of time with my employees sharing in learning the proper ways to provide protection and how to do electrical work safely. Will I step in and lend a hand? Nope, I am still only qualified to observe the safety aspects of the job, but at least when we approach a electrical job we do it with respect and caution and we don’t assume a thing.

I am posting these awareness video to help “spark” some questions for you and hopefully set you off down the path of finding the answers to some life saving questions. After all if you have ever seen a raccoon after its found its way into a substation you know, really know, that you never want to see the same thing done to anyone else.
